In honor of summer, I want to share with you my best kept secret – the best guacamole recipe in the world. Seriously. It's light for summer, healthy, and so delicious. You’ll love the simplicity of this dip - it can be thrown together in a hurry using ingredients you probably already have at home. I mean, what’s better than that?
Plain Greek yogurt
- Using slightly soft avocados, mash the avocado with a fork
- Add about a tablespoon of low fat plain Greek yogurt, and a few dashes of lemon juice
- Use the garlic powder, salt, and pepper to your personal taste and mix together
- Top with diced tomatoes
Voila! That’s it. Enjoy as an easy weeknight side that your kids will love, bring it to a party to impress your friends, or just make to enjoy as a simple summer snack (margarita not included).
Chips are always a great option for dipping, but we recommend trying sliced veggies, which will leave you feeling good about eating this dip all year long.
